Veterinary Guidances Notes
The below veterinary measures came into effect on 5th April 2010.

A horse competiting in FEI Events must maintain a medication log record of the use of all substances from the Equine Prohibited List. |

A change from the use of Medication Forms during an event to Equine Therapeutic Use Exemptions (ETUEs). This is to be more aligned with WADA and to introduce a system whereby a copyof the ETUE is given to the person responsible :

An updated Veterinary Guidance Note (VGn 6/2010) is now available with a further explanation of treatment areas and relevant ETUE or Medication Form 3 needs. This is supplementary guidance intended to meet a need to provide more detail to VGN 3/2010 released on 25 March 2010. Both Veterinary Guidance Notes should be read together. |
